Amherst, N.Y., June 3, 2021—Athena SWC, a premier provider of demand generation, lead management, marketing, and sales support services, is excited to announce the addition of two new employees to support the company’s continued growth. In a year that was difficult for many, Athena has seen record growth and has helped many of its clients continue to grow despite the pandemic that prevented traditional face-to-face networking and sales meetings.

Because of its growth, Athena has brought on Connor Seeley and Emily Dowdall as its newest full-time marketing associates.

Seeley and Dowdall, who will both report to Director of Operations and Partner, Christopher Mays, will be responsible for identifying qualified sales opportunities and providing market intelligence on customer purchasing behavior for Athena’s growing client base.

“We’re lucky to have both Connor and Emily starting their careers with us,” said Mays. “Both have demonstrated having the humble, hungry, smart virtues we look for, in addition to delivering results. The future is bright for Athena!”

Seeley will also be assisting the Athena Sales Team under the direction of CEO and Managing Partner Todd Zielinski.

“As we continue to grow and invest in options to achieve our 5-year strategic planning goals, it was evident that we needed to make additions to Athena’s sales infrastructure, said Zielinski. “Connor will immediately assist Athena in building our sales resources from a new account development perspective. Connor has all the attributes we are looking for in sales development role. I’m excited for his start with Athena and looking forward to watching his professional growth with our company.”

Connor Seeley is coming on board full-time after working with Athena since November in a part-time capacity. Before joining Athena, Seeley was a sales intern at Park Place Technologies in Cleveland, Ohio.  Seeley is a graduate of John Carroll University, where he majored in marketing. Seeley joined Athena as a full-time employee on June 1.

Emily Dowdall brings management experience and customer service skills from her former position as Manager at Paula’s Donuts and other hands-on business experience, including marketing, accounting, and human resources through several internships. Emily also teaches private tennis lessons, which has helped her to further develop interpersonal and communication skills. Emily has earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo. She joins Athena full-time on June 7.
