Amherst, N.Y., November 24, 2021—Athena SWC is excited to announce its recent movers and shakers hired and promoted to support its strategic growth plans. As of November 1, Athena promoted two employees and hired four new sales development representatives. All report to Partner and Director of Operations, Christopher Mays.

“This is an exciting time for our company,” said Mays. “We have two dedicated, hardworking individuals, in Nate Ashley and Pat Graham, ascending in their careers. Additionally, we’ve brought in a talented group of people to fulfill our SDR positions. I’m excited for the now and the future with this team.”

Promotions

Nate Ashley

Nate Ashley was promoted to account manager. In this senior role, Nate will provide high-level strategic guidance of client programs, tactical program management, process improvement implementation, target profiling, and sales process and situational consultancy. Nate, who has been with Athena since August 2016, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with concentrations in marketing and operations/supply chain management from the State University of New York at Buffalo. This is Nate’s second promotion.

Pat GrahamPatrick Graham has been promoted to senior marketing associate. In this role, Patrick will be responsible for developing and managing lead opportunities to build and maintain robust sales pipelines for his clients. Patrick is a 2019 graduate of St. Bonaventure, where he majored in marketing and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He has been employed by Athena since June 2020.

New Hires

Four new sales development representatives will support Athena’s growing client base by identifying qualified sales opportunities and providing market intelligence for their clients.

Dominick AzizianDominic Azizian comes to Athena from Cobham Mission Systems, where he was a lead technician working with aerospace companies. Dominic’s knowledge of the aerospace industry and electronic products is an excellent asset for supporting clients involved in those areas. He also brings communication, technical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills as well as B2B manufacturing experience. Dominic has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.

Mikayla RoundyMikayla Roundy is a 2021 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. Mikalya, originally from Binghamton, NY,  also holds an Associate of Science degree in business from Broome Community College. Previously, Mikala was employed by Target as an Executive Team Leader. In this management position, she sharpened her customer service skills, gained key business metrics knowledge, and developed strategic plans to drive sales.

Nick RalphNick Ralph has joined Athena part-time. He is a 2021 graduate of St. Bonaventure, where he majored in marketing and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. While at St.Bonaventure Nick, nick was a C4 team engagement leader. In this position, he engaged with local businesses to conduct market research and assistance for brand restructuring and collaborated to create social media content. This experience provides valuable skills that will be an asset to Athena’s clients.

JAMES VOLPEJames Volpe also joined as a part-time employee. James is a senior at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in operations and supply chain management. James has held several positions while a student that allowed him to develop several valuable skills, including customer service, interpersonal, problem solving, communication, and teamwork.
